In the fall of 2001 the movie "Djuren" (the Animals) premiered at a small cinema in Lund, Sweden. The film, produced on a budget of 5000 swedish kronor, became an instant cult classic and went on to air at the student television chanel almost every day for the next 5 years. It also recieved the not so prestigious STEVE-award. 
The movie is live-animated and revolves around a bunch of animals that get together for a party. Among them is a wolf that is a bit of a loner, a horse that is a bit of a junkie, a talkative monkey and a lizzard that bears a striking resemblance to Godzilla. However things soon get a little out of hand...
